1. Scope
This Privacy Notice describes how ServeStone Payments LLC (“ServeStone,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information through servestonepayments.com (the “Website”) and the public business email addresses listed on the Website.
This Notice applies only to the public informational Website. It does not apply to any authenticated customer, contractor, administrator, project, funding, payment, evidence, provider, bank-account, or other financial service. Any such service, if offered, will be governed by separate notices and terms.
2. Information We Handle
Information you send by email. If you contact us by email, we may receive your name, email address, company or organization, inquiry category, message, attachments, and ordinary email-delivery metadata.
Disabled contact form. The Website’s online contact form is not active. Information typed into the disabled form is not submitted, delivered, or stored by ServeStone.
Technical and security information. When you visit the Website, our hosting and network providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the Website, such as your IP address, request date and time, requested page or resource, referring page, browser, device, operating-system and network information, response status, traffic-routing data, and security or abuse-prevention signals.
Network-error reporting. Cloudflare may add Report-To and NEL response headers. In compatible browsers, those headers may cause browser-generated network-error reports to be sent to Cloudflare. A report may include the requested URL or origin, referring page, request method, protocol, response status, timing, server or network information, and the type or phase of a network error. ServeStone treats this as essential website-delivery, reliability, and security processing—not advertising, behavioral profiling, or contact-form delivery.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- deliver, operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Website;
- route and respond to email inquiries;
- evaluate contractor, homeowner, professional, media, technology, and banking or payment-partnership inquiries;
- prevent abuse, investigate security or reliability events, and protect the Website and our rights;
- maintain appropriate business and compliance records; and
- comply with law, legal process, and enforceable requests.
An inquiry does not create a ServeStone account, project, funding arrangement, payment authorization, provider relationship, or financial transaction.
4. Cookies, Browser Storage, Analytics, and Advertising
At publication, the Website does not set application cookies or use local storage or session storage. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, cross-site behavioral tracking, retargeting, session replay, heatmaps, mailing-list automation, or targeted advertising on the Website.
Cloudflare may process the technical request, security, and network-error information described above as part of its hosting and network services. If we introduce a materially different technology or use, we will update this Notice before or when the change takes effect.
5. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to:
- Cloudflare, Inc., which provides DNS, TLS, hosting, content delivery, traffic security, and network-error reporting;
- Google LLC, which provides Google Workspace business email;
- professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and contractors who need the information to support our business and are subject to appropriate duties;
- government authorities or other persons when required by law, legal process, or a valid request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security; and
- a buyer, successor, or other participant in a proposed or completed merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate protections.
We do not sell personal information, disclose it for targeted advertising, or use it to profile visitors for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
6. Retention
We retain email inquiries and related business records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the relevant relationship or request, protect rights, resolve disputes, and meet legal, security, and recordkeeping obligations. Technical logs and network-error records are retained according to the operational purpose, our configuration, and the applicable service provider’s settings and obligations.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, we delete or de-identify it where practicable, subject to legal holds, security needs, backup cycles, and legal or contractual requirements.
7. Your Choices and Privacy Requests
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction, deletion, or a copy. You may also appeal a decision on a privacy request where applicable. Send requests to privacy@servestonepayments.com.
We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority before acting. We may deny or limit a request where permitted or required by law, including to protect another person’s rights, security, privileged information, or records we must retain. You do not need to create a Website account to submit a privacy request.
8. Information Security and Sensitive Information
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the limited Website information we handle. No email or Internet transmission can be guaranteed secure.
Do not send bank account numbers, card information, passwords, authentication codes, project documents, government identification, health information, or other sensitive information through the public Website or public email addresses.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Website is intended for a general adult and business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13 through the Website. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact privacy@servestonepayments.com.
10. Third-Party Links
The Website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices and are not controlled by this Notice.
11. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Notice as the Website, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Notice with a new effective date. We will provide additional notice of a material change when appropriate.
