How ServeStone Works
A safer path from project agreement to payment.
Funding arranged before work. Homeowner authorization before release.
The sequence
Agree on the project.
The contractor and homeowner define the scope, milestones, amounts, documentation expectations and payment schedule.
Arrange milestone funding.
For pre-funded milestones, the homeowner arranges funding through the selected qualified financial provider.
Confirm readiness.
The provider confirms the applicable funding state, and the contractor can see whether the milestone is funded and ready under the project workflow.
Document the milestone.
The contractor completes the work and submits photos and other agreed documentation for homeowner review.
Review and decide.
The homeowner can approve, ask a question, request more documentation, propose a partial release or raise an issue.
Process valid authorization.
After homeowner approval or another valid release-authorizing event and the applicable workflow and provider checks, payment processing can begin.
Every payment stage remains distinct
Funding confirmation, homeowner authorization, payment processing, and completed transfer are separately recorded stages. Approval must never be presented as completed payment.
ServeStone organizes and records the project-payment workflow, milestone documentation and release authorization. ServeStone does not inspect construction, certify workmanship or decide disputes.
