Company
A safer structure for home-project payments.
ServeStone Payments is a technology company focused on improving how contractors and homeowners manage project funding, milestone documentation, payment decisions, and payment records.
Why ServeStone
Home projects need a better payment structure.
Contractors often commit labor, materials, and time based largely on a customer’s promise that payment will be available later. Homeowners are often asked to pay substantial amounts directly to a contractor before the related work has been completed and documented.
ServeStone creates a more balanced structure. For applicable pre-funded milestones, the customer’s funding is arranged through the financial provider and confirmed available before the associated work begins. That gives contractors greater confidence and greater payment security before committing labor, materials, and time. Homeowners review the milestone documentation and retain control over the release decision until they are ready to authorize payment.
Our mission
Our mission is to make home-project payments safer and easier to manage for both sides of the project. ServeStone brings project terms, funding status, milestone documentation, homeowner decisions, payment authorization, and payment records into one coordinated process.
Our approach
Structure creates confidence.
01
Funding in place before work begins
For an applicable pre-funded milestone, the contractor can see when the customer’s funding has been confirmed available before beginning the associated work. The milestone is funded and ready, giving the contractor a more secure payment position before investing labor, materials, and time.
02
Milestone-based payments
Connect each payment amount to a defined stage of the project rather than treating the entire project as one undifferentiated payment.
03
Documented progress
Keep photos, invoices, documents, notes, questions, and responses connected to the milestone they concern.
04
Homeowner control before release
The homeowner reviews the contractor’s milestone submission and decides when to authorize payment. Funding can be in place without being automatically released merely because the contractor submits the milestone.
05
Connected records
Preserve the path from project agreement through funding, documentation, homeowner decision, payment processing, and the resulting payment record.
What ServeStone brings together
One coordinated experience for the entire payment process.
ServeStone connects contractors, homeowners, project milestones, financial-provider funding status, documentation, payment authorization, and payment records. The result is a process in which both sides can understand the current stage, the information available, and what must happen next.
Funding in place for the contractor. Release control for the homeowner. A safer structure for both.
