Banking and Payment Partnerships
Banking partnerships behind the ServeStone payment experience.
ServeStone Payments provides the contractor- and homeowner-facing system through which the home-project payment workflow is structured and facilitated. Contractors and homeowners use ServeStone to establish project milestones, arrange and follow funding, document progress, review milestone submissions, record payment decisions, and follow the resulting payment status. We are seeking banking and payment-infrastructure partners to provide the regulated account, payment, reporting, and reconciliation capabilities that support this experience.

- The project runs through ServeStone. The financial transactions are supported by qualified banking and payment partners.
- ServeStone facilitates the complete project-payment workflow, supported by regulated financial infrastructure.
- ServeStone connects every project action to the financial event it supports.
Central positioning
The ServeStone experience is not a project tool followed by an unrelated bank transaction. The project and payment process is facilitated through the ServeStone system from beginning to end. The parties use ServeStone to define the project and milestones; establish the funding schedule; receive project-specific funding instructions; follow confirmed funding status; submit milestone photos and documentation; review the submission; ask questions or request more information; record full or partial payment authorization; follow payment processing status; and maintain the resulting project and payment record. The financial partner performs the regulated financial functions behind that workflow. ServeStone connects those functions to the project, milestone, documentation, authorization, and records that give the payment its context.
ServeStone-facilitated journey
The project is structured in ServeStone.
The contractor creates the project, milestones, amounts, funding schedule, documentation expectations, and payment terms through ServeStone. The homeowner reviews and accepts the project structure through the same experience.
Funding is arranged through the ServeStone workflow.
ServeStone presents applicable project-specific funding instructions and connects resulting financial-provider status to the correct project and milestone.
Funding status returns to ServeStone.
When the financial provider confirms that applicable funding is available, ServeStone presents that status within the project workflow so the contractor can understand whether the milestone is funded and ready.
The contractor documents the milestone in ServeStone.
Photos, invoices, documents, notes, and other agreed records are submitted through ServeStone and connected to the exact milestone and payment request.
The homeowner reviews and decides in ServeStone.
The homeowner can authorize payment, ask a question, request more documentation, propose a partial release, or raise an issue.
ServeStone facilitates the authorized payment workflow.
ServeStone records the applicable authority, checks the required project and payment conditions, and facilitates the resulting instruction through the approved financial-provider process.
Payment status and records remain connected in ServeStone.
Provider processing and transaction information return to the ServeStone workflow, where payment status, project records, and reconciliation remain connected to the applicable project and milestone.
Division of roles
ServeStone operates and facilitates the contractor/homeowner experience: onboarding; project and milestone creation; agreement and acceptance workflow; funding schedules and project references; funding instructions displayed to the customer; funding-status presentation; milestone documentation; homeowner review and payment decisions; release-authorization records; payment-workflow checks; payment and exception status; project-level transaction records; reconciliation workflow; and final project/payment records.
The financial-partner role is to provide the approved customer-funds structure; receive ACH, wire, or other approved funding; provide authoritative confirmation of received and available funds; execute properly submitted payment and refund instructions; provide transaction and balance reporting; supply statements and reconciliation data; perform applicable regulated financial and compliance responsibilities; and support financial-operation escalation.
Partner capabilities sought
Project-specific funding association; project-specific funding instructions; authoritative funding confirmation; processing of valid payment, partial-payment, refund, hold, and related instructions; status and event reporting; reconciliation information; and reliable integrated or operational access through APIs, webhooks, secure files, provider portals, or another approved combination.
Operating-model explanation
ServeStone records what project and milestone a payment concerns; whether applicable funding has been confirmed; what documentation the contractor submitted; what decision or authorization the homeowner recorded; what financial instruction followed; what status the financial partner reported; what transaction ultimately occurred; and whether the ServeStone and provider records reconcile.

Funding instructions and status are presented through ServeStone. Milestone documentation is submitted and reviewed through ServeStone. Homeowner payment decisions are recorded through ServeStone.
